#FeelYourBreast

Throughout the month of October 2020, we’re campaigning for Breast Cancer Awareness to raise money for our amazing chosen charities, Trekstock and CoppaFeel!, and highlight the importance of checking your boobs! Our Female Family is what keeps us going (literally), and we want to be here for all of you in the most inspiring, motivational and compelling way, as you have been for us. It’s time to get ready to #FeelYourBreast as we move closer and closer towards what is going to be one hell of a Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign this year.

Are you ready?

We want our Female Family to be totally breast cancer aware and know the difference between what is normal, and what is not - for you and your body. Just because breast cancer won’t take a seat, it doesn’t mean we will. Remember, an early diagnosis can save lives. We will make a change.

Together we are stronger. We are empowered. We are Breast Friends.

What is Breast Cancer Awareness Month?

You’re probably thinking, what is Breast Cancer Awareness and what is it all about? Well, you’re in the right place, girls.

Let us fill you in...

Breast Cancer Awareness Month falls in October every year in the UK and is a month dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer. As a brand dedicated to uplifting and empowering our Female Family, our #FeelYourBreast campaign is a movement like no other and one we can confidently say we’re very proud of. We go big or go home and we care about you...all of you. We want women to be cancer aware, feel comfortable in getting to grips with their body and knowing when something doesn’t feel or look as it should.

After all, you know your body best!

Last year, we raised,

£23,676.15

For our chosen charities, Trekstock and CoppaFeel!

But girls…we’re not stopping there

This year, we’re going BIGGER than ever before, and doing our utmost to do three things.

  1. Raise awareness about breast cancer.
  2. Drive Donations for our partner charities, TrekStock and CoppaFeel!
  3. Raise your confidence and knowledge when it comes to checking your breasts.

Breast Cancer Awareness is important, it’s really as simple as that.

You always think it won’t be you, or your best friend, or your family…but the statistics disagree. Breast cancer does not discriminate and unfortunately, it can happen to anyone and we want to make sure you’re as clued up as can be! This is why it’s so important to check your breasts.

How to Spread Breast Cancer Awareness

Keen to get involved and #FeelYourBreast? The more the merrier! Join us on our mission to spread Breast Cancer Awareness as we inspire and empower women (and men) everywhere. There’s a few things you can do to spread Breast Cancer Awareness and get involved:

When is Breast Cancer Awareness Month?

Breast Cancer Awareness Month takes place every year throughout the month of October.

From the very beginning to the very end of the month, we’ll be here to remind you how crucial it is to get checking.

Check your breasts

Checking your breasts is incredibly important. Ladies, gentlemen (yes, men can get it too), we know it’s one of those things that can be easily forgotten, bring nerves or worry, or can just be on the back-burner...but checking your breasts for abnormalities and unusual changes should be a monthly habit so any changes can be noticed...and noticed quickly. Plus, you can build confidence in knowing what is normal for you and be cancer aware, always. And remember, it’s always best to get checked out if you notice any of the following changes:

  • A change in the size, outline or shape of your breast.
  • A new lump or thickening in your breast, armpit or collarbone.
  • A change in size, shape or feel of your breast such as puckering, dimpling, a rash or redness of the skin.
  • Fluid leaking from the nipple.
  • Changes in the position of nipple.
  • A new pain or discomfort that doesn’t go away.

If in doubt, it’s always best to get checked out, girls.

Join our movement and
be breast cancer aware

We’re always here to act as your Breast Friend and we want to get as many of our Female Family involved this Breast Cancer Awareness Month as possible. Whether you’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, know someone who has or just want to get to grips with your body, we want you on onboard. Yes, you!

October is a big month for us, and we’re campaigning to make a difference to the lives of our breasties everywhere. We care about you, and we want to ensure that you have all the details you need to know your normal and to be totally comfortable and confident in taking off your bra and getting to grips with your body.

Last year, we told the heartbreaking and emotional stories of 10 women who shared their journeys with breast cancer to inspire and empower our Female Family. This year, we’re coming back with our inspirational Legends, plus some gorgeous new faces to encourage you to learn even more breast tips!

So, will you get involved?

Sign up below to stay in the loop in the run up to October. This is something you don’t want to miss, girls.
